The Steering Committee of the AGC M&U Division met on May 19, 2009 at AGC’s Capitol Hill Legislative Headquarters in Washington, DC to discuss future activities and priorities of the division.

M&U Chairman Art Daniel presided over the meeting. In addition to conducting internal planning, the Steering Committee met with a top official from the EPA Office of Drinking and Groundwater Protection to discuss EPA’s progress on implementation of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act.  AGC members also participated a legislative briefing on the prospects of Water Trust Fund Legislation.

The Municipal and Utilities Division is also pleased to announce the selection of four new regional representatives who will each serve two year terms on the newly formed Steering Committee.  We are honored to announce the appointment of the following individuals:
